“Investor visa” can describe very different immigration options. Some are temporary nonimmigrant classifications connected to trade or investment. Others are immigrant categories with separate eligibility standards. The right option depends on the business, investment, nationality, role, source of funds, and immigration goal.
The amount invested is only one part of an immigration analysis. A case may also involve ownership, control, the nature of the enterprise, job-creation requirements, nationality requirements, lawful source-of-funds documentation, or the intended duration of stay.
